From Monday-Sunday we’ve been through 10 different states, so needless to say it has been another busy week for us!

Ever since we got back from Texas, Eva has been begging to go back to her grandparents’ houses. “GiGi’s House?” she asks when we get into the car. When we’re driving somewhere she’ll randomly ask, “Island?” It breaks my heart. I hate keeping her away from them.

Damian had his 2-month checkup this week. He weighed in at 12lbs and 11oz. I already forgot the length but I think it was somewhere around 23in? He’s doing really well and is as healthy as can be. He did have his shots, though, which he didn’t like at all, but I had fun cuddling with him. His awesome sleeping pattern was interrupted with all the changes this past week, as you can imagine, but hopefully he’ll ease back into it this week. Other than that, he’s as smiley and talkative as ever. He’s pretty much the cutest little boy on the planet (but of course I’m a bit biased).

This week we took a road trip to Boston and Providence to spend Independence Day watching one of my favorite artists of all time, Sage Francis. The trip was a bit rough but the show was totally worth it. I’ll write about that another day. Today I’m just trying to get back into the swing of things…
